• Small Business Owner's Guide to the CARES Act: This guide provides information about the major programs and initiatives that will soon be available from the Small Business Administration (SBA) to address these needs, as well as some additional tax provisions that are outside the scope of SBA. 

 

• HUD Rental Assistance:The CARES Act provides the Department of Housing and Urban Development with an additional $17.4 billion in funding including monies for rent assistance, housing vouchers, public housing, and housing for the elderly.

• Hidalgo County Housing Assistance Providers: TDHCA funds local organizations (providers) who in turn help those in need.  These providers may get funding through TDHCA or other resources.

• Apple COVID-19 Screening Tool: The COVID-19 app and website allow users to answer a series of questions around risk factors, recent exposure and symptoms for themselves or a loved one. In turn, they will receive CDC recommendations on next steps, including guidance on social distancing and self-isolating, how to closely monitor symptoms, whether or not a test is recommended at this time, and when to contact a medical provider.
